Join us at the Twentieth Annual ANZSLA Conference which will focus on the complex relationship between sport and the media… in the spotlight. This year's program will feature many prominent sporting and media experts, with sessions set to include panel discussions between CEOs from major sporting organisations in Australia and New Zealand, past and present sports stars who will discuss their personal experiences with the media and leading sports journalists. There will also be sessions focusing on the acquisition and exploitation of broadcasting rights, sponsorship issues and new media challenges and opportunities.

 

The Conference will be held in Sydney, the home of many historic sporting moments. With stunning views of spectacular Sydney Harbour, the Shangri-La Hotel is the location for this year's conference and accommodation. The Gala Dinner will be held at the internationally acclaimed Quay Restaurant.

 

The Organising Committee has also arranged an exciting social program, closing with the Wallabies and All Blacks fighting it out for the Bledisloe Cup.
