Bring Corporate Australia back to BaliNovember 12th, 2010
“Absolute perfection, a huge success, 50 delighted guests and a definite booking for next year!!”
These are the words from the General Manager of a Perth based company on return from Bali with corporate guests from the Australian Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry.
Avanti Events created a weekend program for their key customers and partners to celebrate and strengthen their business relationship. The Laguna Luxury Collection Resort & Spa in Nusa Dua, Bali was chosen. As a team effort, the resort sales team, local DMC ‘Pacific World’ and Avanti Events created a business and social program, which offered a communication platform for the group with a focus on the needs of the individual.
The hotel staff delivered an indigenous and enriching experience immersing guests in legendary Balinese hospitality, with fulfilling memories and an unforgettable experience. Pacific World local assistance was exemplary, offering value to the guests in transfers and indigenous experiences. They delivered what they promised, “many welcoming smiles that will greet you on this beautiful island, where our wonderful people, unique culture, artistic spirit and humble traditions create an incredible reward for incentive winners and an inspiring environment for meetings and events.”
“The attention to detail, the hotel location, the hotel facilities, the holistic experience, and your unswerving commitment to customer satisfaction was simply faultless and you should take immense pride in your company’s ability to take a conceptual idea and turn it into such a magnificent success, very well done, you delivered perfection and for that I am sincerely grateful.” GM Foodlink.
The Laguna Resort offered a taste of paradise within the Island of the Gods.
Security on arrival in Denpasar, car checks entering Nusa Dua and the hotel grounds offer an added secure state of mind. With DFAT warnings we acknowledge the need to exercise caution, as well as being discerning where you travel and, being observant of the in-situ levels of security. Bali deserves a pragmatic approach to travel warnings.
As a destination, Bali is a direct 3 – 6 hour flight from Australian capital cities. The fantastic food, delightfully friendly people, exquisite properties and world class venues offer much to the discerning traveller. We recommend ‘please consider’ for the corporate incentive.
One of the most spiritual places on earth, Bali’s wonderful rituals and legends are played out passionately by its people. Children and musicians from a local school individually led guests to dinner, with a photo opportunity and a clip-on koala. In recognition of the children and the needs of the elementary school and, in support of the local community, we subsequently held a Balinese ceremony at the resort temple to pledge text books and stationery for the direct benefit to the children and their continued education.
The gala dinner on the beach didn’t have to be a repeat of traditional sounds of Bali so we incorporated contemporary indigenous dance and the energy of local capoiera dancers. The pyrotechnic enhanced crescendo to Michael Falzon’s performance lifted the finale to tingling heights for not only our guests, but all hotel guests, staff and security who had gathered to enjoy the experience and amplify the applause.
It was a Corporate Incentive about the experience of the group, each couple and more importantly the individual. The objectives were met providing a communication network to build relations, strengthen business relationships, offer a CSR support to the local elementary school and create an energy for the individual with a must return desire for spouses and business partners alike.
CALL TO ACTION
“The reconsider your need to travel” travel advice by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade doesn’t help corporate Australia open their minds to Bali as a conference incentive destination, but for those that do it is an exceptional destination that hits all the right buttons. No Comments
