David Addison BSc (Hons) AMM
Managing Director
David has a vision for Avanti Events to be a harbour for corporate events with a Marina of Excellence where corporate and association flotilla choose to engage our services, birth overnight or moor their boats for a little longer. He has managed the event agency over the last 15 years to be a leading and well recognised business within the Business Events & Incentive Industry in Australia.
David's professional background includes a corporate career in the pharmaceutical industry in Europe and Australia; research & development, marketing and management experience leading to a senior management position in Australia; Asia Pacific Manager for a US based NGO; Managing Director of Avanti Events. His personal ethics and motivation carries through in his company and to his clients. His hands-on creative and delivery of incentive programs and events is backed by solid experience that covers all aspects of R&D, sales & marketing and corporate management as well as implementation of the client programs.

Barbara Addison-Weiss
Director, Accounts Manager
Barbara has over twenty years experience in corporate business working in Europe and Australia. She has been a Director of Pharma Events and Avanti Events since first conception in 1996, building her knowledge and experience in association and corporate events in the Australian meetings and events industry. Barbara contributes to the creativity in the team, is operational at client events and manages all finances for Avanti Events projects, suppliers and clients.

Terry Bleyer
Senior Event Manager
Terry has been in the travel/ tourism industry for over 30 years specialising in what in what is now know as Event Management for 19 of those years.
Terry's broad skills in brainstorming creative ideas and the implementation of programs, personal attention to detail and risk management attentiveness are exceptional and well recognised by our clients and the industry.
Working with all facets of Event Management from the creation of the client brief to the completion of the event he has created travel reward incentive programs on a global basis from India's golden triangle to African game parks and Alaskan cruises.
Plus incentive based programs for tiered levels of achievers incorporating multiple destinations. Terry’s experience is a value add to his clients.

Rebecca Innes
Senior Event Manager
Rebecca joins Avanti Events in 2010 with a wealth of events industry experience in companies we admire and respect. She commenced her career in 2000 as a Professional Conference Organiser. With over ten year’s experience, she has managed major events in the corporate, government and association market.
She has worked with large corporations managing events such as corporate conferences, product launches, media events, gala dinners and award ceremonies.
Rebecca provides a consistent high level of professional consultancy, and is vastly experienced across all elements of event management.

Natalie Bull
Creative Design & Event Manager
Natalie is a very talented member of our team. She is an artist of creative merit with an excellent eye for detail, who joined Avanti with extensive production and events project management experience. Her creative design of collateral for brochures, teasers, newsletters, website and incentive programs as well as her strengths as an event manager provides great support to the team and is a wonderful asset to Avanti Events.

Jessica Scicluna
Event Manager
Jessica is a valuable member of the Avanti Events team with 4 years experience on events at Avanti Events. Jessica has a great deal of experience with association and corporate clients and has personally managed investigator meetings, association conferences of up to 200 guests and been a critical team member on incentive events and large corporate conferences of over 500 guests.
Jessica has a great deal of ability and continues to develop her skills and experience in event management and client support.

Avanti Events is an SME business which recognises the importance of training and giving opportunities to students and people wishing to get some real world experience in event management. We can’t take as many students as we’d like but offer opportunities when we are able.
